Details
The Taper Console & Shoe Rack 18 x 75 is a narrow stainless steel shelf designed for entryways, hallways, and compact storage areas. Made from 100% brushed stainless steel, it can function as a low console, a display surface, or a refined shoe rack for everyday organization. Designed by Herman Studio, the piece uses the same bent-corner construction language found throughout the Taper collection. Angled rear brackets create stability while preserving the open structure, and the rounded front edge gives the steel a smoother, more tactile profile. The shelf arrives pre-assembled and is suitable for contract use. Its shallow height and generous width make it especially practical where shoes, bags, keys, or small objects need a clear landing place without adding visual clutter.

Brand
Form + Refine
Form & Refine was founded in 2018 by Helle Herman Mortensen, Jonas Herman Pedersen and Lasse Lund Lauridsen– based on the common vision of creating a value-driven design brand that explores materials and preserves our earth and craft cultures through an exceptional design philosophy. They also believe in making a positive social impact and preserving crafts by working with cooperatives and smaller workshops to create fair and respectful partnerships. Among others, they support a cooperative of alpaca farmers in the highlands of Bolivia through the art of weaving and ancient wisdom.
